Still investing in our people at work

Rossetti Care are delighted to announce we have successfully retained our Investors in People accreditation for a further three years. It is a testament to the absolute commitment and hard work of the entire staff group, that the organisation has achieved re-recognition against the prestigious National Standard.

It's not just the residents who enjoy quality, value and choice with Rossetti Care. At Rossetti we are committed to creating an open and dynamic environment for staff where talented people who are fully committed to caring for older people can - and do - succeed.

Ray Edwards, Director, said "the training and ongoing development of our staff is crucial, to ensure that our residents receive the very highest standards of care and also to provide our employees with the happy, rewarding job and career that they deserve". Investors in People recognition is a valuable endorsement of the Company's determination to promote a culture in which staff are valued and respected, life-long-learning is encouraged and great emphasis is placed on training and development. Rossetti Care is committed to remain an employer of choice, offering a safe, enjoyable working environment, and a progressive, developmental organisation where the needs of its residents are paramount.

The Assessment was undertaken by Quality South East, an independent company under the direction of Investors in People UK. The Assessor commented "It was clear that Rossetti Care is keen to provide learning and development for all their staff. Continuous improvement is a way of life there." The Assessor's report made many quotes from interviews conducted with staff. When addressing how people believe their contribution is recognised, staff commented;

Registered Manager of April House Lyn Cook is delighted. "We are a firm believer in the involvement and development of staff to meet the aims and objectives of the home. I am absolutely thrilled to achieve the Standard and will continue to adopt the key principles to enable us to provide a high quality service for our residents."

Kiki Cole, Director, commented "We originally pursued Investors in People to improve the training and development of the staff within our first residential care home. We achieved that aim, improved staff retention and have since expanded to three care homes. With the re-recognition, we can now be confident that all our care homes have taken on board the principles of continuous development".
