- April House, 69 Sea Road, Westgate-on-Sea on Thursday 1 April 2004
The events were sponsored by the Kent Care Cluster, a co-ordinating body established by Canterbury Christchurch University and Kent County Council for developing good practice amongst care professionals.
Linda Cook, Registered Manager for April House says: "All the homes involved are committed to providing excellent support, training and development for staff to move ahead in rewarding and worthwhile careers. Whether you're a qualified healthcare professional, a domestic assistant or a caring person who wants to find out more about caring for older people, we have something to offer".
Lisa Abdullah, Registered Manager for Rossetti Lodge added "The three homes involved in the open days are all part of one of the few care groups in the country who have earned the quality assurance and Investor in People status and we are keen to encourage those who want to work in a rewarding, considerate and caring environment".
